Meet Marc Gibb...

MARC GIBB
ABOUT:

Areet (Hello)
I’m Marcus Gibb and I’m a Geordie (from Newcastle upon Tyne, now living in London).
Me ma always telt us “shy bairns get nowt” and I’m “geet canny as owt” (My Mother always told me to be forthcoming and I’m an extremely pleasant chap).
So here goes...
I'm a Midweight creative/copywriter now living in London, and looking for an art director to take on our fine capital city.
I've got experience writing for TV, radio, press, social and outdoor and looking for someone with the same experience.
I’m what my late granddad would call a “grafter”, and my current creative director quotes as having “a real Geordie work ethic”, working hard at what I do because I enjoy it, and well that’s the way I was brought up.
Newcastle is constantly topping polls about the friendliest people and the most loveable accent, so don't be scared, give me a shout!

Meet Nora Gurney...

NORA GURNEY
ABOUT:

Hey, I'm Nora, an Art Director from the Emerald Isle, originally anyway - my accent's gone but I can still drink and that's the main thing.

I'm freelancing and I'm after a freelance copywriter who's happy to work individually and as my better half when team roles come up. It would be an uber modern marriage of minds, just let me know if you want to sleep around, obvs. I'm also toying with the idea of freelancing (maybe perming) overseas next year - Is that something you could get on board with? No pun intended.

You can read all the drawn out employer sell (if you're that way inclined) on the CV tab on my site but in a nutshell my best bits:

- 1 Clio and 3 Bima awards
- 6 yrs in Digital and ATL agencies including Leo Burnett and Razorfish
- 4 pitch wins (conceptual, innit?)
- Haven't managed to piss anyone off
- I write too (if you're over it / hands fall off / fancy doing pictures for a bit - see, told you it would be a modern marriage)

And to get a favour of me, a la Tinder:

Art. Live music. Food porn. Travel. Cats. Dogs. Not babies. Coffee. Smilers. Getting lost. Film. Wine. Theatre. Etc.

Swipe right.

Meet Benjamin Moon...

BENJAMIN MOON
ABOUT:

The Moon needs a day job and is looking for a partner. I am currently interning in London but am looking to partner up before going any further as it seems what most agencies are looking for.

I am a middle ground mongrel in the art director/copywriter sense. I have a 4 year background in commercial photography pracitce then later found a forté as an ideas person in advertising, so naturally lean more towards art direction but have found i'm just too funny not to try my wings at copywriting. So ideally i'm looking for someone that is equally a middle ground mongrel.

My portfolio is currently very experiential focused, with the goal that video, print and social media can spin off but I'm looking to work with moving image concepts too.

Sometimes I ponder what life would be like as random things, today it's life as a revolving door and its pretty great.

I am currently based between Birmingham and London but aiming to be in London full time within the next few months.

If you have a high level of hilarity and or are a superhero/evil villain in your spare time then maybe we could make a good team for worldly take over.

Why was the cheese optimistic? Because things could only get feta.

Get in touch to organise a beer or chat to see what we can do.

Meet Phil Brewer...

PHIL BREWER
ABOUT:

SEX.
Now that i’ve got your attention, would you like to have sex?
Hi, i’m Phil - a copywriter looking for an art director, and not actually looking to have sex with you at all. I was just using the power of advertising to lure you in, sucker.
A mid-weight creative who’s previously spent 5 years at Karmarama and the past year freelancing solo, i’m now searching for an art director who’s aspiring to make work that is “very good” and not “very not good”.
To help you decide if i’m right for you (and vice-versa), I’ve handily included a list of attributes you must, and must not have, if we’re likely to work together successfully…
You Must Not:
- Be a murderer. (Sorry, but i really must insist here - if you’re a murderer, i’m not your guy. Try the post below, they’re big fans of murderers i’ve heard).
- Have a bitter and violent hatred of people called ‘Phil Brewer’.
- Be a future version of me who’s come back to destroy me. Jog on, you handsome future fuck.
You Must:
- Have a burning passion for stuff, specifically - things and etc.
- Have new info on exactly *where* in Cuba 2pac is currently hiding.
- Breathe.
If that sounds like you, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with me via email, or, for all you cool teens out there - hit me up on Myspace, dudes:
