Meet Oliver Adams...

Hellooooooo,

My names Ollie. I'm 21. I'm from Liverpool studying in Edinburgh. I like Peep Show. I like Rock & Roll. I like football. I like inhaling oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide...

I'm a final year Graphic Design and believe it or not I'm on the hunt for a creative partner! Ideally, 'said partner' would have skills in both copywriting and art direction, as I'm not entirely sure what I class myself as yet. However, I think the majority of my skills lie within art direction so if you solely want to be a copywriter I COULD BE PERSUADED. 

I've completed a few different internships throughout the UK, but I've not got a wealth of advertising experience. However, my final project at Uni is solely going to be aimed towards building an advertising portfolio, so it would be good to chat with people about that! (I'm dead good and making stuff look well nice and that though). 

I've attached a brief in which we were told to "take something simple and make it complicated". in Art School.

Meet Bethany Applebee...

Hey AdLand,
I'm Beth, a Junior Art Director who is single and ready to mingle... and also looking for a copywriter. 

I'm looking for someone who works hard but has a damn good time doing it. I like to have a laugh whilst working, and if that involves working at the pub, then so be it.
The story of me goes, graduated in 2014 and since then have been doing placements at Rapp, Kindred, Iris, Partners Andrews Aldridge and most recently a start up agency called Soul, as well as some junior freelance work on the side. 
I've had my fill of placements now and am looking for someone to join me on my mission - if you should choose it - to get one of those magical job things everybody keeps talking about.

I originally trained as a photographer so I like to do that on the side, but I also like to fill my time with sketching, painting and being a not-so-famous youtube superstar, teaching people how to style short hair... You can probably tell that I like to be busy.

Hi my name is Stefan, an enthusiastic and creative individual from the Netherlands with a passion for Advertising.

My Professor at the Willem the Kooning Academy said something remarkable about my work ethic: “Stefan was a student who spent as little time as possible at the academy, so that he had more time to do what he enjoyed most: being creative and winning honors in the process”.

During my third year at the Art Academy, I moved to New York, participating in a foreign exchange program at the School of Visual Arts. It was here that I mixed my unique way of thinking with other creative people from different cultures.

While graduating from the Art Academy, TBWA\ gave me my first experience with producing advertisements for paying clients. Including Kayak, McDonald’s, Heineken, Amstel beer and Heinz.

Meet Onaysa Patel...

ONAYSA PATEL
ABOUT:

An ideas person on the hunt for an Art Director who I can build a great portfolio with, come up with incredible ideas and start our careers in AdLand with some smashing placements. 

I'm an avid OMBLE (One Minute Briefs) and have won a number of times with my ad ideas featured in The Telegraph and shortlisted for WWF's Earth Hour campaign. I'm currently doing School of Thought, a 12 week ideas course where I'm working on 12 briefs which get critiqued by the creative directors of different agencies in Manchester. 

In my previous life, I was a Geographer where I did spend about ten minutes of my three years colouring in a map which may or may not explain my lack of solid art skills. The one thing that I did learn was that nothing is as it seems. You always have to dig deeper, beneath the surface to find the reality which I think is a necessary skill in advertising. 

Looking for an AD primarily in Manchester but would be willing to relocate.

I'm Aron Sidhu, a Copywriter who currently works at the Leith Agency in Edinburgh.

I’m Arianna, Junior Art Director looking for a creative partner (copywriter).



A bit about me: I’m Italian and I studied Graphic Design at the University of the Arts of London. Since I graduated (in 2014) I had a short experience working as an assistant producer and 2AAssistant Director for a TV commercial production company. Meet Peter Higgins...

Hello!



A while back I made the journey from Liverpool to London. I’m a senior creative who just wants to create great work, have a few laughs doing it and pick up the odd award along the way. For the last 11 or 12 years I've been working at agencies including McCann, CHI and M&C Saatchi/LIDA.



I love coming up with ideas. Crafting copy and art direction is important to me but I don't like to get too precious about that until I know there are good ideas down on the pad. I'm comfortable working in a fluid partnership where we share roles or as the Copywriter. Ideally, I see myself either ATL or in an integrated agency where TV and print is a huge part of the role.
