Meet Gemma Ghelardi...

GEMMA GHELARDI
ABOUT:

Creative mind looking for an art director to help me take over the world.

I worked as a creative strategy intern at ISOBAR, where my social campaign for IKEA has been shortlisted - and hopefully will get chosen. Other brands I’ve explored include PURINA, SWIPE/FLOW and ISOBAR itself.

Beforehand I graduated in Behavioural Economics, started an art space in Berlin and published a novel. The Behavioural Economics degree is particularly useful as it basically is the marketing science of the subconscious - in other words, I could convince you to do something without you even fully being aware of it hehe! In fact, I’m finding the alternative background quite useful as it gives me a lot more perspectives and ideas on things.

Basically I’m full of ideas, ambitious, hard-working and incredibly funny - well, at least I make myself laugh a lot.

Check out my work and drop me a line if you think we could make a great team.

Meet Joe Turton...

JOE TURTON
ABOUT:

Hello singletons - I graduated from Bucks a few years ago working in both full-time and placement roles, sometimes in that order, which makes me a smidgen of a renegade. The types of places have been client side, above the line, below the line and one start-up that gave me a hair cut, mainly as an AD and all gave me a good grip of the direction I want to be going.

Now, having just finished a placement at 4creative, my partner and I decided to split *sad face*. But. I’ve got a shiny new folio ready to give the industry another kick in the teeth.

In a n ideal world I to make work that provokes, challenges the way people think and ultimately changes behaviour. As well as buying a penthouse in NY, naming my guard do Diego Costa and driving golf ball out of Danny DeVitos teeth, of course. I’d also like a partner to share it all with as it gets lonely sitting a room eating cake by yourself.

Being junior-mid level I’d like to partner with someone that has a bit of experience under their belt.

Reconstruction of a potential brainstorming session:

You: “Right, we’ve got this brief for Hovis”
Me: “Wicked - how about, Hovis: Have you ever tried picking up gravy with your hands?”
You: “…”
Me: “…or what about this digital idea. We break international tensions with Russia by allowing people to fire Hovis across Europe via there laptops with a message that says 'Putin, lets break bread'?”
You: “I’m going home…”
Me: “Wait, I’ve got one more - Hovis: The only acceptable food to eat out a bin…”
You: “...Shut up"

If you like what you see and then lets grab a drink.

Meet Nora Gurney...

NORA GURNEY
ABOUT:

Hey, I'm Nora, an Art Director from the Emerald Isle, originally anyway - my accent's gone but I can still drink and that's the main thing.

I'm freelancing and I'm after a freelance copywriter who's happy to work individually and as my better half when team roles come up. It would be an uber modern marriage of minds, just let me know if you want to sleep around, obvs. I'm also toying with the idea of freelancing (maybe perming) overseas next year - Is that something you could get on board with? No pun intended.

You can read all the drawn out employer sell (if you're that way inclined) on the CV tab on my site but in a nutshell my best bits:

- 1 Clio and 3 Bima awards
- 6 yrs in Digital and ATL agencies including Leo Burnett and Razorfish
- 4 pitch wins (conceptual, innit?)
- Haven't managed to piss anyone off
- I write too (if you're over it / hands fall off / fancy doing pictures for a bit - see, told you it would be a modern marriage)

And to get a favour of me, a la Tinder:

Art. Live music. Food porn. Travel. Cats. Dogs. Not babies. Coffee. Smilers. Getting lost. Film. Wine. Theatre. Etc.

Swipe right.

Meet Malene Løvnes...

MARLENE LØVNES
ABOUT:

Hi, I’m Malene.
I’ve recently graduated in Creative Advertising at University of Lincoln. I’m a single creative looking for a partner to jump into advertising with me.
I’m a visual person, as well as having a love for words. So it doesn’t really matter whether you are an AD or copywriter, I think coming up with amazing ideas together is what matters. I’m a bit OCD, and like to have things in order, as well as being indecisive, sometimes, but not when it comes to work, I think. It makes me explore every possible solution in order to come up with the perfect one.
If you like my work, and want to see if we could create something awesome together, don’t hesitate to drop me an email!

Meet Benjamin Moon...

BENJAMIN MOON
ABOUT:

The Moon needs a day job and is looking for a partner. I am currently interning in London but am looking to partner up before going any further as it seems what most agencies are looking for.

I am a middle ground mongrel in the art director/copywriter sense. I have a 4 year background in commercial photography pracitce then later found a forté as an ideas person in advertising, so naturally lean more towards art direction but have found i'm just too funny not to try my wings at copywriting. So ideally i'm looking for someone that is equally a middle ground mongrel.

My portfolio is currently very experiential focused, with the goal that video, print and social media can spin off but I'm looking to work with moving image concepts too.

Sometimes I ponder what life would be like as random things, today it's life as a revolving door and its pretty great.

I am currently based between Birmingham and London but aiming to be in London full time within the next few months.

If you have a high level of hilarity and or are a superhero/evil villain in your spare time then maybe we could make a good team for worldly take over.

Why was the cheese optimistic? Because things could only get feta.

Get in touch to organise a beer or chat to see what we can do.

Meet Benji Taylor...

BENJI TAYLOR
ABOUT:

Well it’s been 10 years in this game and I find myself needing an art director.

Hello, my name’s Benji, a brightly coloured sock wearing copy wrangler from West London. From the digital to traditional media, I struggle to find a media space I haven’t advertised in (I've even invented a drink) - and that’s the way I like it .

This is a digitally driven world but I don’t just ‘do digital’ for the sake of it - I believe in producing the right outcome - not the fashionable one - whatever that may be.

Advertising doesn’t need to change, it simply needs to adapt.

A great idea is still a great idea and an engaged audience is still an engaged audience.

I’m looking for an art director who enjoys a laugh, great work and thinks that a pair of brightly coloured socks attached to a conceptual copywriter in his early 30s is just what they need in their life right now. To find out more, give me a shout.

Meet So Gemms...

SO GEMMS
ABOUT:

Hi guys. My name is So, I'm 24 years of age and I'm a soon to be Jr creative (copywriter) from Argentina, looking for someone to work with.
My aim in life, is to use creativity as a primary tool in order to address current significant social issues through innovative ways as well as using it for other "artistic" (if that) fun projects that will hopefully (excuse me, Mr. Cliché here coming through, if you just could move out of the way please, thank you), contribute to make the world we live in, a happier place, making friends throughout the process. I want to touch people's daily lives somehow through the construction of new experiences. (Oh, the feels).

I’m interested in linguistics, cinematography and football among other things. A rookie of life and a constant learner for the most part.
Fairly new to the industry itself, I'm currently doing an internship at a small independent advertising agency. Below you'll find some of the things I did on my own. *Pardon my savvy skills*, (or lack thereof). Everything I know I learned from Derek Zoolander.

(Warning)- Guilty pleasures of mine I’ve tried dealing with, yet couldn’t find a solution for, include:

1. Dwight Schrute.

2. Friends (they don’t know that I know they know I know).
3. Attempting to acquire medical knowledge from Dr. House.
4. One Direction (long story short: there’s none).
5. Sarcasm (a language I'm fully committed to), which I apply -against my will- on a daily basis.
6. Dancing. Even though my dance moves resemble the first steps of a newborn giraffe. Never seen one? Here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ls2jv6gAeuk
*The More You Know*

If you happen to be interested in what you see or else, feel the need to send some constructive criticism my way (candy is more than welcome too) or have an existential conversation about life itself, feel free to drop by! I make wonderful lemon brownies (not true), give out the best fashion tips (not true) and would definitely get your cat out of a tree if you happen to have one
(utterly true). Same applies to dogs, armadillos, llamas and whales (you never know, life works in mysterious ways).

In all seriousness though, thank you for taking the time to read this! Much appreciated.

Hope you're having a great day.
